Unfortunately, the normal Long Beach July 4th 2020 events for fireworks are canceled. For several years now, I have been sharing with people and visitors to Long Beach about our cool 4th of July events.
I’ve covered surrounding cities about firework shows as a community service too.
My article last year, received over 4,000 visitors to the website to read about the 4th of July 2019. The CoronaVirus (COVID-19) health crisis got the firework shows and events canceled.
Cities Besides Long Beach for July 4th 2020 Events…Ummmm
I searched all over southern California to find an event and I could not find anything,
I suggest having a party with your immediate family at home or in the backyard to celebrate our great nation. Be creative.
Knowing our fellow Long Beach residents, someone will probably launch fireworks out at the beach. Even though the beach is closed which blows my mind.
Fireworks in Long Beach and Seal Beach are illegal.
What creative ways can you think of to celebrate Independence Day 2020?
The City of Huntington Beach is having a Front Yard 4th of July Bringing the Celebration Home Event. It is kind of a modified version of the famous Huntington Beach parade that goes down Main Street every year from the Huntington Beach Pier.
There are parade routes through neighborhoods with decorating contests fore houses. Check out the ONE HB Parade Info today.
[callout]The parade will travel from south Huntington Beach to north Huntington Beach starting at 8:00 AM and continue through approximately 12:00 PM. An exact route will be announced on the parade route map on the morning of July 4 2020. [/callout]
Plan Your Own Celebration Party and Support Local Dining
Check out my list of local takeout locations in Long Beach and Seal Beach. Order to-go platters for your family for the backyard, house, condo, or apartment. Be creative.
Oh, wear a mask to stop or slow down the spread of the virus. Support our local businesses.
I’m a Local Business Too. I hope you have a safe and happy Independence Day on Saturday, July 4th 2020.
If you need help with buying or selling Long Beach real estate or Huntington Beach homes or another beach city along the coastline.
