Huntington Beach Lifeguard Station

I took this photo from the Huntington Beach pier this morning.  There is a surfing contest, NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) National Championships, going on today until July 3rd on the south side of the pier.  So, if you enjoy watching surfing, this event to check out this weekend.

This lifeguard station is on the north side.  I guess, the morning, it just seems to be more people surfing on the north side than the south side.  I wonder why sometimes.
