This weekend is the annual Long Beach Lobster Festival on September 5th, 6th and 7th, 2008 in the Rainbow Lagoon and Marina Green area. Where is that? See the Long Beach map (Shoreline and Pine Avenue near the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Long Beach). Come by hungry for Lobster.

What Happens During this Long Beach Event?
Thousands of local residents attend this festival annually. The organizers know how to throw a party. There will be music from the different eras: “Salsa, R&B/Motown, Decades 70s/80s and Dance Bands” that you can dance to on the dance floor…get your groove on and do the twist….dance and shout!!! The Long Beach event will include local popular artists will be displaying their art. There will be plenty of things to explore for all ages….so bring the kids (if you have any…or perhaps you are a kid at heart).
