I was on my way to the gym on September 11th, 2001 around 6 am when I turned on the television and saw the reports. It was a sad day in America. I was taking care of my parents at the time (they passed away this year). I woke them up and told them that we were under attack. They were in shock.
In remembrance of that day, I don’t work out on September 11th. (in case you want to watch a video to remember)
Long Beach will be remembering this day…..
The Long Beach Fire and Police departments will remember today at their Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony adjacent to City Hall on Chestnut Street, south of Broadway. The event begins at 6:30 a.m
