On June 2nd, 2019, Newport Beach is having their 26th Annual Balboa Island Parade from 11 am to 4 pm. Marine Avenue is blocked off. Park and walk over the bridge. The parade is a blast to attend.
Arrive early to the parade. The bridge closes at 10:45 am.
Parking is going to be a challenge. I suggest parking maybe at Fashion Island and then taking Lyft
or Uber to Bayside Drive and Marine Avenue in Newport Beach.
I parked nearby on the mainland and then walked in a couple of years ago.
Pictures from Past Years
Residents and visitors line the street of Marine Avenue. Dine and shop at the local stores before and sometimes during the parade hours. I had a friend in the Balboa Island parade in 2013. He had decorated a golf cart and drove with his nephew. They had a blast participating that way.
