See bands, celebrities, floats and local community groups. Parade viewers can enter the downtown area off Goldenwest Street on Orange or Palm Avenues. “Staking out” an area for viewing is allowed after 7:00 a.m. on July 3rd. Items must be removed by 2 p.m. on July 4th. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pacific Coast Highway will be closed again between Beach Blvd. and Goldenwest Street to make way for the evening entertainment and fireworks. It is recommended those planning to view the fireworks at the Pier arrive between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
