History of the Pier
Our pier is an Orange County landmark. It traces back to 1904 and was constructed by the Huntington Beach Company, this iconic structure marked the beginning of development in this coastal town.
According to SurfCityUSA.com, the pier is 1,850 feet long and is considered one of the longest piers on the West Coast.
When you are in town exploring the pier and beach, make sure to stop by the International Surfing Museum at 411 Olive Avenue in the downtown area. There is a lot of great history about surfing and the city of Huntington Beach.

Is there Dining on the Pier?
Yes. Duke’s Huntington Beach is on the Pier. It is located at 317 Pacific Coast Highway. The sunsets are awesome in the early evening. Call them at 714-374-6446. You can dine at Fred’s Mexican Cafe across the street. There are lots of places to have a great meal in downtown Huntington Beach.
