If you are in Long Beach or want to view a big firework show for free from the Queen Mary, this is what you do. How are you planning your 4th of July event here in 2010?
Do you plan a party in Long Beach either in the downtown area or Belmont Shore, Belmont Heights, Belmont Park, or Naples? Then, at 8:45 pm, grab your favorite beach chair, towel, or blanket and go down to the beach. The Queen Mary has their firework show that starts at 9 pm.
Every year that I go down to the beach to watch the show from the Belmont Pier it seems like there are thousands of people along the beach. It’s really amazing.
Huntington Beach California 4th of July 2010

Then, at 10 am they have a parade that starts at Pacific Coast Highway & Main Street. Pacific Coast Highway will be blocked off in certain areas so I recommend going early down to the Main Street area so you can find parking…and plan to stay down there for a while.
