Moving

Moving is considered one of the most stressful things people do in their lives. It involves careful planning, the right moving materials and help from knowledgable people.

Plan the Move Ahead of Time

Develop a checklist for each room.
Estimate how many boxes you will need.
Buy some markers so you can write on the boxes what is inside
Write down what you plan to take and what you are going to get rid of
Are you going to move yourself or hire a professional company?

Packing for Success

Most moving companies suggest that you pack one room at a time and mark the box so you know where everything is. Always place the heavier itesm at the bottom and lighter things on tip.

Storage Space

My brother was moving from California to Oregon. He and his wife wanted to sell their home and move into the next one but the timing was not right. So, they rented a storage space and stored all of their items in it so they could move at their pace and relieve some of the stress from the move.
